Lurkily

Journals are not a big thing for me, I admit.  I write very few of them, and have little to report, particularly as my photoshop skills have been left to atrophy - particularly since I'm not a part of any community that needs them, such as the SupCom community, where I was doing unit textures and sig images, or the smaller, more casual Virtual Villagers community, where I was doing some 2-D mod art, and other random assorted show-off stuff. So I'm at work, bored out of my mind, and needed something to do.  Thus, a journal.  Enjoy.

When I found "Little Flame" the other day in ~islandtime (https://www.deviantart.com/islandtime)'s gallery the other day, I knew I saw something remarkable!  I had to do something with it.  Burn Brightly is now one of my favorites out of my own works, and still I think the original photo is even better unaltered.  Anybody who likes Burn Brightly should go see the original, and also look through IslandTime's gallery - it's all beautiful work, not a single item is to be missed. I'm still not satisfied with Burn Brightly.  I don't know if I ever will be perfectly satisfied, but there is more that I can do to try and recapture what I feel like I lost in the manip.  So it won't be
